The black Lian Li O11 Air Midi-Tower is a particularly premium case, one that combines stylish air inlets with attractive tempered glass elements. In comparison to its siblings in the series, this variant provides a special focus on air cooling. To this end, Lian Li worked closely with German overclocking guru Roman "der8auer" Hartung. His logo adorns a plaque on the inside of the neat and tidy case. The dual-chamber design of the ATX case has been retained, meaning that plenty of space is available for high-end gaming hardware and all the necessary cabling. The forté of this case, however, lies in the fact that it offers incredible air cooling.

Incredible Airflow in the Lian Li O11 Air
In total, up to twelve 120 mm fans can fit in the Lian Li O11 Air and the rear of the case offers enough space for two 80 mm fans at the same time. The case is, with the exception of the tempered glass side panel, covered in air inlets to better enable optimal airflow. On the front, up to three 120 mm fans can be attached while as an alternative there is also space for two 140 mm fans. Two 120 mm PWM fans already come pre-installed courtesy of Lian Li themselves. The same layout is used for the roof of the case. On the bottom of the case an in between the motherboard tray and the front there is sufficient space for three 120 mm fans in each location. As a result, not only is the interior of the case cooled, but also the chamber located behind the motherboard as well.
Naturally, instead of fans users are also welcome to install compatible radiators instead. The case offers users the option of installed up to four 360 mm radiators: one in the roof, one on the bottom and one next to the motherboard. Should four 360 mm radiators be installed at the same time, the tom and bottom of the case offers space only for narrow radiators, and a slim radiator must be used next to the motherboard. Generally, three triple-rads is possible, however you must pay extra attention to the components used for the custom water cooling. The top of the case also allows for the possibility of installing a 280 mm radiator.
Plenty of Space for Hardware and Optical Drives
The Lian Li PC-O11 Air Midi-Tower is capable of holding an E-ATX motherboard in the left chamber, up to a 420 mm long graphics card and an up to 155 mm high CPU cooler. The chamber behind the motherboard tray serves not only to improve cable management, but it also allows space for installed both of the optional power supplies. The first power supply (ATX) can be installed vertically in the lower section of the case, while up above there is space for a second ATX-size power supply - at least if you forfeit the HDD cage which is already there. Both power supplies can be up to 255 mm long. To maximise the ease and convenience of your cable management, several partially rubberised cable passthroughs are also available which would place them near the edges of the motherboard.
The HDD cage can hold two 3,5" HDDs or 2,5" drives as an alternative. Both slots can be reached from the back of the case, and are covered with a perforated bracket. An additional 2,5" SSD and a 3,5" drive can be installed on the reverse of the motherboard. There are additionally two 2,5"-brackets which come screwed to the bottom of the right side panel. In total, three 3,5"- and six 2,5" data storage devices can be installed in the Lian Li O11 Air.
ATX Case with Premium Design & Tempered Glass
The Lian Li O11 Air Midi-Tower utilises 8 mm steel paired with a tinted tempered glass side panel. On the exterior, Lian Li has built the O11 Air from the ground up for the air cooling that users desire. The front and roof of the case are both equipped with wide air inlets that are accentuated by the addition of stylish stryts. The right side panel comes with classic mesh-style air inlets set lengthwise in two separate rows. The back row serves to provide the power supplies with fresh air, the front row ensures the fans next to the motherboard tray have sufficient air. The rear of the case also comes with plenty of air inlets near the power supplies as well as the seven PCI slots.
The Lian Li PC-O11 Air Midi-Tower is slightly raised on rubberised steel feet, ensuring that cool air gets through the dust filters and into the case. The chimney effect ensures warm air travels upwards, into the roof which also comes with a dust filter. Two further dust filters cover the frilles in the right hand side. The front offers one of the total of five dust filters. The I/O panel comes situated off to the right side at the front. In addition to two USB 3.0 ports, there is also a USB 3.1 Type C port, perfect for the convenience of not having to find which way to correctly insert a USB device. There are also, naturally, the standard audio jacks as well as an on/off switch.
The elegant Lian Li O11 Air Midi-Tower is not merely an incredibly good-looking case that is capable of holding a tremendous amount of gaming hardware effortlessly, it is also designed for PC enthusiasts that really care about achieving optimal cooling.

- Front stoffilters bieden teveel weerstand voor een goeie airflow door reguliere casefans. Static pressure fans zijn te adviseren, of het vervangen van stoffilters door silverstone stoffilters die minder weerstand bieden voor airflow.
- Er is ook een RGB variant, die komt met 3 pre installed Lian Li 120mm BORA LITE RGB fans.
- Ondanks de naam doet vermoeden, kun je de geen aircooling towers kwijt hoger dan 15cm!
